What is the Shopify integration?
The Simply Send Shopify app embeds directly into your Shopify admin. It lets you replace Shopify's default email notifications with fully branded, deliverability-optimized messages while keeping customer and consent data in sync.
Branded Store Emails
Customize order confirmations, shipping notifications, refunds, delivery events, and return emails from your own verified sending domains.
Customer Sync
Shopify customers and marketing consent preferences sync automatically to your Simply Send audiences.
Getting Started
Install the Simply Send app from your Shopify admin and connect your store in a few clicks.
1Install the App
From the Integrations page in your Simply Send dashboard, click the Shopify card and enter your store's myshopify.com domain. Alternatively, find Simply Send in the Shopify App Store and install it from your Shopify admin.
2Approve Permissions
Approve the OAuth scopes for orders, customers, webhooks, and app billing. Simply Send will configure webhooks and begin syncing customers automatically.
3Enable Automations
Create automations for order events, fulfillment, returns, and marketing flows. Choose each automation's email type — transactional or marketing — and customize the template.

Consent & Compliance
Simply Send respects Shopify's customer consent model. Marketing emails require active Shopify marketing consent; transactional emails do not.
- Customer consent is synced and checked before sending marketing automations.
- Unsubscribe requests are honored automatically via Shopify's customer records.
- All sends use your verified sending domain for consistent branding.
