    Auth0 Integration

Connect Auth0 to Simply Send to deliver your tenant's emails — sign-up confirmations, verification links, and password reset requests — through your own verified sending domain.

    Overview

Auth0 has a default email provider configuration, but they strongly recommend configuring your own custom provider for production environments to avoid rate-limiting and default branding. Integrating Simply Send gives you:

    Branded Tenant Emails

Verification messages will come directly from [email protected], building trust with your users.

    Maximum Deliverability

Auth0 default pools can have degraded reputations. Simply Send's verified domain sending protects your transactional email delivery rates.

    Setup Guide

To integrate Auth0 with Simply Send, you'll provision SMTP credentials in Simply Send and copy them into your Auth0 branding configuration.

    1. 1
Provision Credentials in Simply SendGo to the Integrations tab in your User Portal and click Connect on the Auth0 card. Choose a credential label and click Create Credentials. Keep this window open.
    2. 2
Navigate to Auth0 Email ProviderLog in to your Auth0 Dashboard, navigate to Branding → Email Provider in the left sidebar, and enable the Use my own email provider toggle. Select **Custom SMTP** as the provider type.
    3. 3
Enter SMTP DetailsFill in the Custom SMTP form with the credentials from your Simply Send setup popup:
      SMTP Host: <smtp-server-from-setup>
      Port: 587
      Authentication: Enabled (Toggle Checked)
      Username: your-generated-username
      Password: your-generated-password
    4. 4
Configure Sender and SaveUnder the **From Email** field in Auth0, enter the exact sender address configured in Simply Send (e.g. `[email protected]`). Click **Save** and perform a tenant test mail verification.
    5. 5
Add Compliance Variables to Auth0 Email TemplatesIn your Auth0 Dashboard, navigate to Branding → Email Templates and edit each template (Verify Email, Change Password, etc.). Paste the following variables into the HTML body — Simply Send will substitute them with your configured unsubscribe link and company address from Templates → Compliance:
<!-- Required in every email template -->
      <div>{{unsubscribe_email_html}}</div>
      <div>{{company_address_html}}</div>

      <!-- Optional -->
      <div>{{report_abuse_email_html}}</div>
Emails missing these variables will be rejected by Simply Send with a MISSING_TEMPLATE_VARIABLES error.
