    Domain Groups Overview

Learn how to use Domain Groups to logically separate, manage, and scale your email sending domains for multi-tenant architectures or diverse environments.

    What are Domain Groups?

In Simply Send, a Domain Group acts as a logical container for your domains. If you have multiple domains, Domain Groups allow you to categorize and organize them based on your application's architecture or your organizational structure.

    Core Use Cases

    Multi-tenant B2B SaaS

If you send emails on behalf of different companies or tenants, create a group for each tenant. Assign the tenant's specific sending domain (e.g., marketing.client-a.com) to their group.

    Future Use Cases

    Brand Portfolios

Managing multiple brands under one corporate umbrella? Create groups for Brand X and Brand Yto cleanly divide the sending infrastructure and monitoring capabilities.

    Reputation Isolation

Separate promotional domains from transactional domains by placing them in distinct groups. This helps isolate sender reputation.

    How It Works

    1. Create a Group: Using the API or dashboard, establish a new group with a recognizable name (e.g., "Acme Corp Tenant").
    2. Add a Domain: Register a new domain (e.g., notifications.acme.com).
    3. Assign Domain to Group: Link the domain to the newly created group.
    4. Send Emails: When you execute a send operation, specify the domain configured within the group.
